The Morel Integra 524 Hybrid Series 5" Point Source Coaxial Full-Range driver delivers exceptional clarity and detail in a remarkably compact form. Designed for audiophiles and custom installers, this 5-inch coaxial subwoofer combines a full-range driver with a point source configuration, ensuring that sound emanates from a single point for superior imaging and coherence. It is ideally suited for high-end car audio systems, home theatre setups, or any application where space is limited but sonic performance cannot be compromised.
Technically, the Integra 524 boasts a 4-ohm impedance and a sensitivity of 90.4 dB (SPL at 1m/2.83V), enabling efficient power handling and dynamic output. The woofer features a 6.4 Ω DC resistance, while the tweeter also operates at 6.4 Ω, ensuring balanced performance. With a total Q factor (Qts) of 0.29 and an electromagnetic Q (Qes) of 0.36 for the woofer and 2.69 for the tweeter, this driver offers tight, controlled bass and smooth high-frequency extension. The maximum linear excursion (Xmax) is 3 mm, supported by a voice coil inductance (Le) of 0.49 mH, while the mechanical losses (Rms) are rated at 1.55. The mounting diameter is 4.2 inches, with a baffle cut-out diameter of 12 mm and a depth of 66.3 mm, making it easy to integrate into various enclosures. With a nominal diameter of 143.2 mm and six mounting holes, the Integra 524 is a versatile, high-fidelity solution for discerning listeners.
