This results in controlled, low-colouration response across its operating range. The ferrite magnet system ensures efficient motor strength, while the low total Q factor (Qts) of 0.33 indicates excellent transient response and suitability for sealed or ported enclosures. With a maximum linear excursion (Xmax) of 2.7 mm and a sensitivity of 86 dB (1m/2.83V), this driver balances output with precision. The 6.5-ohm DC resistance and 0.49 mH voice coil inductance further contribute to stable performance. Measuring 153.9 mm in diameter with a mounting depth of 76.2 mm and a cut-out diameter of 114.3 mm, the F5 is a versatile choice for a wide range of audio projects, offering a blend of technical refinement and sonic integrity.
