Technically, the PC68-8 features a polypropylene cone that offers low mass and high rigidity, contributing to its smooth frequency response and reduced breakup. The copper-clad aluminium voice coil ensures efficient heat dissipation and low inductance (0.47 mH), aiding transient accuracy. With a total Q factor (Qts) of 0.64, it is well-suited for sealed or small ported enclosures, providing a balanced blend of extended bass and controlled midrange.
